Problems with a new build. Unsolvable Problem.

Alright this is the problem. I have a new build it was working perfectly for 2 weeks and all of sudden it shut down. Now since then. It will boot and be able to be used for a bit of time but then it will shut down randomly and won't start back up(even after disconnecting the PSU) After some time it may or may not boot and if it does it still shut down after some time.

Remember I have two computer almost identical.

The following I have tried:
Swapped GPUs

Swapped PSUs

Swapped RAM

Swapped CPUs

Swapped M.2 Drives

Pulled Power Switch pins
Reinstalled Windows

When it's Booted:
Intel Burn Test: Standard: worked.
Cinebench: Worked

3D Mark: Failed or it would crash.
I do notice that if I run 3dMark or start any game it happens immediately or within 10-15 minutes of play. Windows Event Log also is no use(The previous system shutdown at 7:14:09 AM on ‎1/‎12/‎2023 was unexpected.) All the logs are non-descriptive.

The only differnces between the two now is the motherboard(use to be the same problem happened on both) and CPU Cooler(Comp A: Noctua NH-U12A/Comp B: Noctua NH-D15)

Comp A:(currently on test bench)

Case: MSI 100R
Motherboarth: Asus Rog Strix X670E-E

CPU: AMD 7700X

CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-U12A

Ram: Teamgroup 2x16gb 6000hz CL30

PSU: Seasonic Focus 1000w Gold

GPU: EVGA 3090 FTW3 Ultra

Drives: 2 M.2 WD Black, 1x500GB 1x2TB, 1-HDD 720RPM 500GB(Been driving through all my comps)

Comp B:

Case: BE QUIET! 500DX
Motherboarth: MSI MPG X670E Carbon Wifi

CPU: AMD 7700X

CPU Cooler: Noctua NH-D15

Ram: Teamgroup 2x16gb 6000hz CL30

PSU: Seasonic Focus 1000w Gold

GPU: EVGA 3090 FTW3 Ultra

Drives: 2 M.2 WD Black, 1x500GB 1x2TB

The reason the motherboards are different I went through 3 other MSI MPG Carbons with various problems and said fuck it I've had enough and tried a different one. I've never seen so many problems in one build, with myself or the other friends that build for themselves. I'm so fed up. Someone any please help!!!!!

thoughts:

-2 weeks is consistent with a burn in failure so hardware is not out of the picture.  3 months no, but two weeks? Yes.  Burn-in failures are fairly uncommon though.

-This shutdown and won’t restart for a period of time but eventually will is consistent with heat problems (so case mostly), battery issues (the things are like $3.  Just swap it out), a really old or full mechanical hard drive can do innumerable weird things so if there is one there it may not be ruled out.

What I would likely do in this situation:

-swap out the cmos battery for a fresh one.  I suppose it could be tested with a multimeter to see if it’s putting out 4v or not, but it’s probably easier just to swap it out of hand (they’re cheap)

-clear the cmos

-boot the machine and see if that fixed it

    -if it didn’t-

-download cpu-z, run it and set the graphs for temps, set it to run on startup.
-shutdown

-wait 5-10min.

-startup, open cpuz and check the temp graph

-if the graph is not normal-

—look for stuff that could be causing heat issues. Bad cpu mounts or forgetting to take the film off a watercooler cold plate are classics.

     -if the graph is normal-

-is there a legacy mechanical hard drive?

    -if yes-

—copy the data off it and get rid of the thing.  Do the shutdown/startup dance and see if that fixed it.

    -if no-

 rma the motherboard.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.
