Pc gets bluescreen

Hi guys I have a friend Who bought a pc he's trying to upgrade ram 2133mhz to 2400 MHz when hé do this after a few hours the pc gets bluescreen with memory management fault but if he use the 2133 in single chanel mode it works perfectly fine

Can you guess which parts are likely to be broken? (also make sure that the memory settings are ok in the BIOS)

I think the cpu cant fully support the ram Stick at this speed he has i5-7500

IIRC, anything past 2666 mhz for DDR4, is considered an overclock.

But he cant passed the limit he is on 2400 MHz

Did you consider that the 2400 mhz memory might be br0ken? The CPU should be just fine with 2400 mhz memory. Check BIOS settings, and maybe return them to stock settings. (jumpers/buttons or remove battery/power cord)

Also, try 1 stick at a time, so you might spot a maybe-broken stick.

Yeah we tried this way and with only 1 stick cant grt blue screen in any slot populated it maybe the mother board has faulty when the 2 slot at the same in use? ( he has only 2 ramslot)
