Windows not recognizing Mic Volume

How come my mic volume is so low? I have it up to 100% but I can't hear myself when doing tests

Have you tried turning it off and on again? Maybe Restart it?

Please make sure to Mark the Solution as a Solution.

Take everything I say with a grain of salt. I could be just about wrong as I am right.

What mic do you have? Where is it plugged in?

I sold my soul for ProSupport.

The mic is integrated on my headphones. It is plugged in my audio jack on my PC case.

Have you tried turning it off and on again? Maybe Restart it?

Front audio jack? You're sure it's hooked up to your motherboard properly?

Does the headset have any kind of mute switch?

Does it work if you plug into the ports on the back of the motherboard? Do you have another mic you can try?

When you plug something into the audio jacks, does any utility pop up on screen asking you what to do with it?

Yes it is wired up properly. No, the headset doesn't have a mute switch.

Have you tried turning it off and on again? Maybe Restart it?

The vast majority of mic's need to be boosted

go into the control panel by pressing win + R and type control panel

click on hardware and sound then sound

click the recording tab and right click your device and choose "properties"

Click the levels tab and there should be a second slider called "microphone boost" or something like that

Since I'm not running onboard audio I don't need to nor do I have the option for microphone boost, Adjust that for the desired result.

Audio go Brrrrrr

I have already done that.
