so guys, can you tell me the real world temp. difference between a reference and non reference model of 780ti.
I've read some article in google and the non-reference cooler gives good improvement in temp but is it worth in real world scenario?
I want to have the reference because i like the looks of it. but im kinda scared because of the temp. by the way im not overclocking too much! i'm a mild overclocker.

My old DCU2 780ti's ran at around 70 degrees in furmark and a 780ti in the reference design runs at around 85 ish.

Also the reference design runs pretty loud. (I know it. My Titan Blacks have the reference cooler on them.)

oh i see. so i really really need to buy the non-reference because of that temp difference, even i like the looks of reference model.

I'd do it but them again Furmark is a GPU Killer.  You would be fine with Reference cards. I use reference cards at the time speaking.

if you want to water cool it better grab the reference pcb ones. if you're gonna buy it locally you'd be having a lot of trouble.

"if you're gonna buy it locally you'd be having a lot of trouble." why?

so far right now locally at least gtx 780 ti blocks are almost non existent. so far only 780 blocks (and they don't fit).

unless you're gonna order through frozencpu which is something I'd advise. our custom ain't so bad but if you want a faster shipping go through johnny air cargo if you leave somewhere near it.

a little bit more expensive though but pretty much cheaper compared to buying them locally (if people start selling 780ti blocks).

oh and it would be difficult to find a non reference block too. except for the old ones.

Live your life like a dream.
