Hi everyone,

I'm looking to build a SFF high-end PC within the LianLi x DAN A4-H2O case and I've come up with a parts list within my budget of around $2750. The link to the PCPartPicker is https://pcpartpicker.com/list/XRz3GL. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to optimize this build. Thanks.

Hi there.

Few things.

1. Wait for 40 series prices to come down or wait for the releasw of the 4070. 3080 are still a high price even tough with bew gens there can be more value options. I would go with nvidia bcs right now i feel like they have a advantage in 3d work(not sure tough)

2. If you go hardcore into 3d modeling, i feel like you need 64 gigs of ram.

3. If you swap your 2nd m.2 you cab get an bigger sata ssd maybe

4. I dont think it would be a good idea to stuff all this high end hardware that gets very hot into a tiny itx pc case. Ofx this choice is up to you. If you switch the case for atx make sure you switch your motherboard to.

5. Even tough its recommended to go with 750w. Id say go with 850w so you have a little buffer. And so you can upgrade in the future

Modified parts list (with the assumption of Blender for 3D modelling) do note I did not check the clearance on the GPU.

Changes made:

  • 3080 swapped for 4070 Ti.
  • Samsung 970 1TB and 2TB swapped for 2 TLC 2TB MP33s from Team group for $8 USD more each than the 1TB drive
  • 5800X3D swapped for 5900X for $5 addition with productivity in mind, while the 5800X3D is an impressive CPU that trumps all save for the new 3D V cache chips which seek to replace it, the 5900X is no slouch in games either and with 4 additional cores most likely the superior chip in the productivity software of your choice.
  • Swapped to cheaper RAM of similar specs from Team group in order to save ~$20
