Hello there,

so I keep having some issues with windows and I don't have any idea why.

There is always something weird that Windows is doing, I have a ArchLinux machine that is running since 4-5 years without any reinstalls and I'm very happy with it.

Sadly I'm using this PC now for Gaming and I wouldn't say I like windows but lets say the User(me) is the issue.

So there is always something weird going on in games, for example in Valorant... I was reporting someone for being toxic and insulting others... I did the checkboxes, wrote a comment and clicked send.

The button went gray but nothing else happen... waited 20s and then closed the Report Window. Later after few sessions I wanted to quit the game, I press quit... nothing happens... after like 30-40s a popup "Do you want to quit to desktop?" pops up. Similar things happen also to the new Call of Duty and I somehow see that there is a issue with Unreal Engine, because CSGO runs fine, Witcher 3 runs fine, NFS Unbound runs good.

Like there is ALWAYS a problem on my machine, a program won't start, I restart my PC and it works... My Microphone isn't sometimes detected... i need to unplug my audio interface.

Is there something I don't know about windows? Because it seems that I'm the only one having those issues. My friends don't have those issues etc.

From what I read in your statement above, it would seem your ArchLinux leaves a little bit to be desired.  Maybe Windows would be a better option.  At least with Windows you can get the updates on a regular level without having to hunt them down..

Good Luck.

Note:  If you decide to try Windows, make sure it is a clean, fresh, install deleting all the partitions on your drive prior to the Windows installation.

Umm...They are using windows. Some games on windows are buggy for them but not for others.

My apologies, I was under the impression they were using something I had never heard of before.  Something called ArchLinux

If you don't understand something, for example the weird thing "ArchLinux" please do some research before you give others advice.

Because if you don't know or understand something and assume things, this can end up with the person you help hurting themselves or breaking something.

I thought I did do some research.  I went to the ArchLinux website and read everything on the home page.  If I remember right, it does not mention anywhere on that page about integrating ArchLinux into Windows.  I made my apologies but obviously that is not good enough for some people that feel the need to condemn and ridicule others for trying to help.  No where in my response did I tell anyone to do anything.  I could have been like most people and just ignore the post and not offer any help at all much less take the time to do a little digging on what ArchLinux was all about.  Sure, I did a little looking and I did try to help, not like most people that just ignore the person looking for a little help.  I guess I should have acted like most others and just hope the person seeking help or advise will just go away.  Funny, I don't see any mention of Windows in the paragraph below.

You don't need to apologize or was I intending to upset you, it was just an advice for the future, in your first post it doesn't seem like you did any research.

I don't really understand why you want to intergrate ArchLinux into Windows... ArchLinux (LINUX) is a operating system itself and t's not a program like Chrome.

It now looks like you tried to help but rather prefer arguing for no reason like I've insulted your family or something, now instead helping you turned this whole thread into an argument about you, thanks, very helpful.

If you read the original post, you would have noticed that I was not the one that was trying to integrate Windows into ArchLinux.
