hi all. today i got message from local servis center that they will refund my dead rx 6900xt which i send for rma. i look up which card to buy. here in eu prices are inflated. rtx 4070ti is 1300+€ , rtx 4080 is 1450+€, rx 7900xt is 1220+€ and rx 7900xtx is 1500+€. which one to choose? im on 240hz 1440p panel. my specs are ryzen 9 5950x, 32gb ram, x570 mobo, 1200hx psu. thanks :D

7900xt should be plenty for 1440p 240hz as it performs very strong at 4k so it will be able to run higher framerates at 1440p.

Prices in EU aren't really that inflated currently (except on 7900XTX), it's just that you have an additional 20% VAT included; in the US it depends n states so they always give "base" price

So a $1200 US 4080 becomes a 1450EUR EU 4080...

I can find  4070TI just a tad above MSRP, 950EUR here in France

Neither are 7900XT and XTX that expensive, on Amazon (fr or de), can find some for 1000EUR and 1350EUR, so only the XTX has a +150 inflated price - should be 1200

If you can afford a 4080 get one, else wait a bit for better prices on 7900XTX

is good if you are from germany or france, im from slovenia and prices here are just nuts. yes you are right i can order gpu from germany  or france but is easy to rma to your local servis center than to ship to other country. if you need to rma it.

Then another reason to get the 4080 for you is that it's the only one that's decently priced in your country,, all of the other are scalped and you'll lose quite a lot of performance for only 100 to 200EUR less...

EDIT : there's even available 4080FE for 1399EUR directly on NVidia site, can't you get one there ?
