I run a ryzen 3 1200 with 2x4 gb ramkit on a b350m pro vdh, and its kinda not enough these days  especially when i stream WoW. Was wondering how do you go about matching another  kit of ram, i was tjinking of buying 2x8gb to slap on so 24gb total. Good or bad idea? Just buy a 2x16gb kit and toss the old one? This is what i have currently https://www.newegg.ca/g-skill-8gb-288-pin-ddr4-sdram/p/N82E16820231935?item=N82E16820231935

As long as the new ramkit matches in timings and speed you should be alright.

Only issue that may occur is with running it with XMP/DOCP profiles.
