Hi,

I've built two PCs in the past few months, both with one SSD and one HDD. Now, while during the OS installation, both drives showed up, the HDD didn't show up (in both cases) after I had installed Windows 7 on the SSD. The HDDs are detected by the drive manager, but I don't know how to get them to show up as D:// or whatever, so I can save files and install software on them. So far, people have told me that I need to reinstall my OS, which seems rather ridiculous seeing as my PC has a "hot-swap station", which should allow me to add and access harddrives whenever I want with a minimum of preperation...

Any ideas on how to fix my issue? Thanks in advance.

How? All the options are get are "Convert to dynamic drive", "Convert to GPT-Drive", "Properties" and "Help"...

Usually you juist right click the drive and chose format.

Can you post a screenshot of what it says?

Here. Unfortunately, it's in german :/

My German is pretty bad, but it's readable.

Well, I guess you have to convert it into a GPT drive. This will not do anything bad to your HDDs.

And sorry for the long response time. I was sleeping when you posted this.

No Problem, was my fault for failing to upload that screenshot for 5 hours xD

Anyway, I converted it, nothing changed...

Haha, nevermind, I found out how to do it, I just had to right click where it said "Nicht Zugeordnet" and choose to "create a new volume". Thanks everyone for helping :)

I'm glad you figured it out.
