Hey guys so my sister's pc is having some problems.

Specs:

CPU: i9 9900kf Stock

GPU: RTX 2080 Stock

PSU: Corsair 650w

Rams: G SKill 16gb

MOBO: MSI z370 gaming plus

So the problem is that certain games keep crashing and other's run fine. The game's she's having problems with is Cyberpunk 2077 and fortnite so far.

She can run team fortress 2, apex legends, and gta v just fine with no crashes. Now the pc itself doesn't crash when playing cyberpunk or fortnite, it's just that the game closes.

I would start by clean uninstalling your GPU drivers and reinstalling, I know you said you did a clean reinstall of Windows, but sometimes Windows update will go and grab drivers for your GPU which can interfere with the ones you install on your own.

First thing to do is download DIsplay Driver Uninstaller. Extract the files from this download, then boot your PC into safe mode. Once you're in the program, select GPU from the drop-down meanu on the right, then choose clean and restart. Let it do its thing, it will automatically restart your PC and bring you back into Windows normally.

From here, we'll need to download new drivers. Go to NVidia's website and download the drivers and reinstall them.

This was a very breif explanation, this is a decent video that explains the whole process of using Display Driver Uninstaller.

Okay I formatted the pc and did a clean install of windows, updated windows, then installed nvidia geforce experience and the game ready drivers. I ran hwinfo and my rtx 2080 is branded as a sapphire rtx 2080 which is weird. I didn't know sapphire worked on nvidia cards. The board is Pcpartner as well. Should I try to undervolt the GPU?
