Help with SFF Build in the LianLi x DAN A4-H2O

All of those builds would suit you well, however they are all using last-gen CPU platforms. Theres nothing wrong with that, but imo when you're spending 3k on a PC right now, you should be getting Intel 13th gen or AMD 7000 series. AMD Also just annouced their 7000X3D CPUs coming next month, so you may want to wait for those and see how they preform. 

 

If I were you, I would take a look at the peformance differences between the two in your CAD and 3D modelling applications. As with gaming you're going to be hard-pressed to see the difference between the two in the real world. Its also worth noting, Intel 13th gen CPUs are on their 700 series motherboards, which will not have an upgrade path. So, if you care about having the option to upgrade your CPU down the line without needing a new motherboard, I would probably lean towards AMD. However, given you do profesional work, performance in those applications should be your first priority over upgrades down the line.

I am planning to build a new PC and I am willing to spend around $2000-$3000. The only requirement I have is that the build must fit in the DAN & LianLi A4-H2O SFF case. I have not been involved in the PC hardware space for a couple of years, so I am having difficulty finding the perfect build for my budget. I have started by looking on PC Part Picker for builds that are compatible with the A4-H2O, and the ones that caught my eye are the following:

i had the same problem here are some builds under  or at 2000 ive made the only difference id go with is upgrading the gpu to a 3090 or smth in the 40 series and maybe more cores depending on its use

I think the first one looks a bit better, however they did say they wanted to spend $2000 to $3000. As I said in my comment, for that kind of money they should really be going Ryzen 7000 or Intel 13th gen, and with way faster memory than 4800Mhz.
