Boot help

Go to solution Solved by Harmsway1283,

I can’t say with 100% certainty without knowing more about your setup, but you could try setting the boot configuration to use UEFI and Legacy. I had a similar situation when I upgraded my wife’s computer.

I recently got a new motherboard, cpu, ram, and m.2 ssd. When I try to boot to windows, it goes straight to ufei bios. The sata SSD that has windows installed is detected, but doesn't show up in the boot priority options.

I have an msi b550-a pro, i5 12400f, rx570, and 16gb 3200mhz ram.

You have to enable CSM. and do a convertion of that install if you want to use Secure boot and stuff . https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/convert-an-existing-windows-10-installation-from/aa8c2de3-460b-4a8c-b30b-641405f800d7 . Backup your data before doing this you can enable csm and use your systam without any issue for now with that specs. if you want modern stuff like resizable bar and secureboot you have to Convert it
