Issues running Firestrike.

Hey... I've been trying things and no matter what I do, Firestrike will crash on my computer within a second or two of starting. Screen goes black, "VGA" led lights up on my motherboard.

The odd thing is... Firestrike Ultra and Timespy Extreme run just fine.

I have a TUF Gaming x570-Plus Wifi mobo, 5700x, 6800xt, 16GB FlareX 3200, Seasonic 750w psu.

Have swapped power supplies with a 1000w borrowed from another system, run DDU and reinstalled gfx drivers, updated MOBO to latest bios, swapped pcie riser cable. Issue seems to persist.

Any thoughts of what I might be missing or why this could happen? It's obviously not urgent or the end of the world, it has just been bugging me.

Latest AMD chipset drivers?

Any GPU vBios updates available?

Disabled MultiPlane Overlay MPO?

Disabled Ultra Low Power State ULPS?

Monitored temperatures?

Unigine heaven, MSI Kombustor, Furmark run just fine?

3DMark stability test?

Higher refresh rate = more load on the CPU. Have you checked the stability of each component? That being said, AMD always has issues with drivers when new cards launch, I have seen similar problems in newer cards from AMD, so there might be a issue with drivers.

Thank you! Not only did Vbios update fix it, it now runs fine with a +15% power target on everything with no issues.

Don't know why I didn't think of that.
