Budget (including currency): $3500 usd (I have already bought the entire thing)

Country: The United States of America

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Warframe, Terraria, Minecraft, Ark, and some other games. (Most of those will be modded)

Other details: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/fY4mhk

(Sorry for how long this is I’m new to posting on a forum) This is going to be my first pc. I am upgrading from ps4/cheap laptop. I have been gaming for a while and decided to upgrade. I am a teenager in America and I have a small part time job. I’ve been working for this computer for over a year. I paid about $2200 usd of the total. My grandpa is a gamer and was really excited I was getting into gaming so he went nuts and bought me a lot. I plan to play 4K at 120 hz with gsync. I am playing on cheap keyboard, mouse, and headset. I plan to upgrade next year, even though I don’t know much about them. My power supply is low voltage for my build because it was specked before I picked out the cpu, but it should work. I plan to upgrade it to 1300 watts next year. I also plan to start buying corsairs custom water cooling kit late 2023 early 2024. I just want a little bit of feedback on my build. My cpu gets here on the 29th and the motherboard the 30th. I’ve watched over a hundred hours of builds and I’m gonna be on zoom with my grandpa. I will also have my dads friend who has built many pcs before.

4K on 27Inch you didn't even notice. go for a 1440P monitor. that 3080 have to doo too much processing for absolutely no Difference in visuals. and don't go for a cheap 4K monitor go for a good 1440P monitor it uses a much better panel and give you much better images. If you are not using a microscope you cant see the pixels in 1440P 27inch so you don't notice it from a distance that you usually game on. The monitor you picked isn't even have proper HDR so Go for a 1440P 144Hz IPS/OLED (there is quite a  selection of OLED now)

Its a massive experience for someone to build their first pc, researching-buying-watching guides-parts arriving etc etc. You should be excited.

Just take your time, and refer back to guides as you are going, for those who are versed it is easy though things can still go wrong, but there is actually nothing to worry about. Don't let anyone take over the build hopefully they will just sit back and advise where needed.

And your psu is fine, no need at all for a 1300w psu. (I have a corsiar sff 400w gold in my test bench and it runs everything)

When you eventually move on to water cooling you will be changled very probably, as you are then mixing electrics with water, they are sort of enemies:) though again there is nothing to worry about if you take extra time and care, if you are going for hardtubing (which in my opinion is better looking and gets better results re routing) then get some extra lengths to do some practice bends on.

Stay calm (though excited) and enjoy yourself.
