I recently bought a 8TB internal Seagate Irownwolf HDD to use in my desktop, the problem is that its not showing up anywhere not even the BIOS.

The drive is definitely on because I can hear it

anyway to fix this?

Have you tried different SATA ports and cables?

you can try on a different sata port or reset your bios settings and try to check if the sata cable is fine or not if not you can replace it.

did that now, still doesnt work

try clearing the cmos battery, turn off the computer, then unplug the power psu, look for the cmos battery, then remove it, wait 1 to 5 minutes, then plug it back in as before, turn on the computer, then check if the hdd can be detected by the bios.

Yes, i see my 2 Nvme SSDs, one of them I installed just 2 days ago and it worked without any problems

Did you try every SATA port?  Also, are those both NVMe (M.2 can be NVMe or SATA) as if one of them is SATA that often disables some SATA ports.

Another thing to check is in the BIOS make sure SATA is set to AHCI not RAID, although I would think the drive should still be displayed in the BIOS even if this was set incorrectly.

It should show up.

if x4 pcie nvme setting is set.. usually one port pr m.2 in use will disable the corresponding sata port. depending on what mainboard.
