I am currently using a desktop and looking for a USB hub/dock. Not that my desktop have not enough ports, but i dont waht to have too many cable running from my desk to my PC.

I saw a lot fancy dock that have HDMI/ Lan Port etc which i dont need. Does all USB hub need to have an external power adapter connected to it? As i wont be connecting much thing to it. Maybe pocket hard drive, stream deck, Peripheral USB dongle.

I need recommendation based on:
1. 1 or 2 Type C ports
2. 4 or more USB ports (1 at least USB 3.0 speed)
3. SD card reader

If you do a search at Amazon for a USB Docking Station you will receive a lot of responses.  Another place to look would be Newegg.

Considering the requirements that you listed, especially the SD card reader, you will want a station/hub that has an external power supply.  This way the hub won't draw all the power needed from your PC but instead will draw its power from the wall.
