Hi friends.

A guy brought me front base panel in unknown condition.

To me, looks like brand new.

How safe is to try it to motherboard since I don't want to damage the MoBo with it?

It would need to hook up with sata power cable.

I am sure it was not used but then again who knows.

He told me to test it and report and if it works then to pay.

I examined the PCB carefully and cables looks like brand new.

Please do not take offence for my apparent confusion or rudeness,it's not intent me to be like that,it's just my BPD,be nice to me,and I'll return twice better,be rude and usually I get easly pissed of...I'll try to help anyone here,as long as it's something I dealt with, and even if you think I'm rude or not polite, forgive me,  it's not me it's my BPD.

Thanks for understanding.

Do you have one of the supported motherboards? Won't be of any use without one.

I have Rampage V Extreme and Formula VIII.

Though both have needed connectors I am not sure if it will work.

I am also anxious since Windows 10 is not supported which sucks..though I hope if needed drivers should work

Yeah looks nice...I can't wait to install it 🙂

Nope nothing..just white backlight.

But there is a broken notch on the sata power connector on the board.

So some dumb a..s probably used brute force to connect sata cable to the sata connector in wrong way and broke the latch and ofc fried the either lcd screen or smth on board.

I did not connect AAFP cable.

I am sad..thought it will work.

Looks broken to me...
