Long term damage possible?

I was trying to Mine with Nicehash and when my RX 6600 began mining the fans didn't move and the temperature skyrocketed to 87 degrees Celsius, does this have a long term effect on my GPU?

I have currently fixed the issue, but won't mine again.

The GPU should turn itself off before it reaches critical temps. Max should be 110 °C for the RX 6600. Mining is just going to burn money at this point anyway.
