New PC Steering Wheel issues

So the other day at goodwill I found a pretty decent condition Thrustmaster T80 wheel and pedal set for 10 bucks. I've always wanted a wheel and pedals but didn't want to spend a lot of money. Strictly speaking the wheel is just meant for PS 3 and 4, but it appears to have some support for pc. I got it working on BeamNG Drive with a driver off the Thrustmaster website and it all functions as it should. The Game Controller setup in Control Center recognizes all it's movements and buttons correctly. But when I tried to use it in Forza Horizon 4 it didn't work. The tab in Controls menu doesn't have an option for a wheel, and when i try and use a custom controller mapping it doesn't recognize any of the wheel or pedal movements. It's not a huge deal if it doesn't work because it was 10 bucks but still, would be nice. Maybe because Forza is Xbox and its a PS wheel? but its on pc... idk. Thx in advance

PC Forza titles are weird with some wheels especially if they aren't Xbox or PC specific. I used my brothers Thrustmaster from his PS4 on my PC for a bit before I got my PC specific wheel and it did the same thing in Forza it's just an issue with the buttons. I think there may be software out there that you can use to rebind stuff, but I just used an Xbox controller with it while playing Forza to navigate the menus.

Thanks. Yeah that’s kinda what I figured, oh well I guess. I did try and use it in tandem with a keyboard and mouse for menus but it just didn’t recognize the wheel at all. No big deal tho
