Deepcool non standard ARGB connector

PcBeExpensive

I have deepcool cf120 fans that came with my case, they have a non standard argb connection, its 4 pins and isnt like the 4 pin 12v one, it looks more like a fan connector than an argb connector. (cant provied picture sorry). Anyways where can I buy a cable to change this to a standard 3 pin 5v argb connection? I know this exists since the fans come with some but they only come with one and daisy chaining the fans makes an unnecesary cable mess.

My First PC
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x
Cooler: Asus TUF Gaming LC240
Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B550-f gaming
RAM: 4x8 GB Corsair Vengeance RS (3200 MHz, CL16)
Storage: 1tb Samsung 980 Pro
Graphics Card: Asus Dual RTX 2060 OC
Case: Deepcool Matrexx 50
Power Supply: Corsair RM650x
Headset: Razer Blackshark V2
Keyboard: Corsair K70 Pro Mini (Speed Silver switches)
Mouse: Razer Viper Mini
Only changes I have made is I sold the 2060 for $235 AUD and bought a Powercolor Red Devil 6700 XT for $400 second hand (it was barely used, think I scored a deal on Ebay with that).
I'm learning video editing and trying to get some cash as a high school student.
I like F1, my favourite team is Scuderia Ferrari and favourite driver is Charles Leclerc. Favourite track is Red Bull Ring in Austria.
Playing with a 1080p 60hz monitor right now, hoping to upgrade to a 1440p 144hz one soon.

Living in AU and that pisses me off since every event is late at night or early in the morning (almost every F1 race starts around 11 PM AEST time)

On the website of the CF120 fans it says 5v is supported, there's no extra cable included?

On page 3 of the manual there's the included cable. If there's no cable and the fans came with the case, the case should have an RGB controller built in. What case do you have?

https://www.deepcool.com/download/pdf/CF_Series_PDF.PDF

Synchronized Control via 5V A-RGB Header on MB
Can be easily controlled by MB through 5V A-RGB Header, no additional controller needed, and can synchronize with other A-RGB devices

the fans came with a case and was hooked up to a rgb controlled, to connect the fans to a mobo you need to hook the fan argb cable to a converter which converts the deepcool argb connector to a normal argb connector, you then have to daisy chain the fans, the deepcool argb connector is not a standard 3 pin 5v connector.

Cus right now your ramblings don't make a lot of sense.

No, It makes sense.

I know what OP is talking about.

The connector is proprietary - just like the connections on the fan hub that came with the case.

By making it a hassle to connect fans from competing brands Deep Cool is basically trying to manipulate you into buying their fans featuring the proprietary connector in case you will want to buy a fan in the future and connect it to the hub.

This is pretty much industry standard.  Have you messed with Phanteks stuff? Their stuff won't even plug into their own hub without adapters. Their boxes are just a mess of adapters.

Also I might add their cases are the same way, the fans don't come with these adapters, but the retail fans do. However in the recent build I did using one of these cases I replaced the ones that came with the case as they weren't PWM, the retail ones are.

Fortunately, the Phanteks stuff i have are from 2014, so i didn't get to experience it with them,

But i did experience it when i bought the case i am using in my main rig, at the end i replaced the fans with better fans and just connected them to the motherboard.

As for the hub i put it in a box with the fans that came with the case.
