Rockit Cool...Not cool?

I haven't used Rockit's delidding service, but I've ordered their tools, and copper IHSs from them in the past. They are a legit company and have always shipped things promptly for me. I'm guessing because this is a service, it's a turnaround  time /backlog time thing. Still though, doesn't make you feel good with the lack of communication.  (I get it)

 

I assume you followed these instructions? I don't think I would panic yet.

Hello,

 

Purchased 13900k, and sent it to Rockit Cool to delid/relid.  Paid online through Paypal, and followed all of there steps for this service.  The had had my processor for 7days with no word from them.  No conformation of receipt or reply to any email.  I dealt with Silicon Lottery in the past and had nothing but excellent service from their owner.  When should I start freaking out?

They're a legitimate company, right?

 

No need to freak out.  Theyll either give you your cpu back or not.   

 

What was their promised turn around?

Yeah I followed all directions to the letter....I even sent nudes 🙂   I'm kinda paranoid by nature.  Next time upgrade I will delid the damn thing myself.  I delided and lapped my 9900k, it was not pretty but it worked

Update, Fed Ex shows they have not received the package yet.....number has been generated.  Stayed in the same status last  days

I'd call.

 

Usually we order a Fed Ex and then they pick up next scheduled, next day.
