biss encryption on a dvb-s2 modulator

Could you guys help me understand What are the encryption methods that I got on starsat dvb-s2 modulator, when I open the encryption page it says I got two biss modes:

1* mode 1

2* mode E

I understand that E is more secure.Screenshot_2022-12-04-04-51-08-50.thumb.jpg.e07407085a7ada2fe9b2de6ae075f4d2.jpg so how to set it ?

What is it exactly that you're trying to accomplish?

Are you familiar with BISS encryption? It’s not complex, but if you don’t understand it just turning it on or off will not perform any useful function.

 

It would really help if we knew the use case.
