Is it possible to run macos inside VirtualBox with a 5600g?

You should be able to create a MacOS machine using VirtualBox (with the Expansion pack). Are you getting any error? what kind of issue are you facing?

It's technically possible, but your experience won't be great. 

There are guides to get it to work, but it's going to be slow (depending on you host hardware and guest configuration.

 

This guide shows how to get BigSur working in VirtualBox but experience may change and vary.

Depending on what you're attempting to do, you might consider a cloud service like https://www.macincloud.com/ where you can rent a REAL mac for as long as you need.
