Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: all the souls games, battlefield 2042, Cyberpunk, other open world and fps games, light editing (with shotcut)

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): upgrading from a gtx 1660 ti i7-6700, dont want rgb, i might upgrade to 32 gbs of ram (i have 16), i could get a 2tb ssd from samsung.

13600k with a 6800xt is possible I would I would think.  That would do 1440p or 4k.  If you’re stuck with a 1080p@60 monitor it’s too much video card.  A low end 4k 100+ monitor might be worth working into the cost even if it reduces the video card.  4k still does 1080p well so you can still drive it with a smal card, you’ve just got to change to 1080p for demanding games.  You want a yeast a couple tb of storage, and the OS   and at least a few games need to be on SSD.  Ssd storage is about double the cost of hdd currently but that’s still one of the cheapest components so a all ssd system is real possible.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

i have a 1080p 165hz monitor im planing to play on 1440p or 4k in the future i have 2 tbs (1tb samsung ssd and 1 tb harddrive). This is my pcpartpicker build https://de.pcpartpicker.com/list/j8RqJM i havent chosen a case or a cpu cooler yet i dont know some good options
