ram upgrade

Solved by cmndr,
Most of the time more RAM wins. If you have to swap out to the system drive, this can take literally 100x as long, so even if your RAM ends up a bit slower (it shouldn't in this instance) NOT paging to disk even a tiny fraction less often is a big win.
This is especially the case when you go from having 1 stick in single channel(64 bit interface) to 2 sticks in dual channel (128 bit interface).
All else equal, you'd expect a 128 bit memory interface at 2400MTS to be around 50% more performant vs 3200MTS on a 64bit interface.
