I have build my pc but with no wireless connection on the motherboard, I want to use ethernet cable connected from my wifi 6 router to my pc. Which ethernet cable is better or enough if my internet speed is 100mbps? Cat 6, Cat 7 or Cat ? From what I search on google the only thing I don't understand is bandwidth frequency, does it affect my ping.

cat5 is enough if all you need is 100mbps.

typically routers can support up to 1gbps, so if you have multiple devices on the local network you can transfer between them up much higher speeds than your internet.

cat5 in shorter runs can handle 1000base-T just fine, however, if you are doing longer runs, want to future proof, or have the budget, go for cat6.

I think cat5 can technically handle up to 2500Base-T but i don't know how reliable that is (and I imagine you need a pretty short run)

Cat5e or Cat6 is all you need for most use cases.

Avoid anything that's CCA (copper clad aluminum) and not pure copper as it's going to break much easier and be more prone to issues down the road.

Frequency of the cable is for transmission of higher bandwidths/speeds.

Cat5e can do up to 2.5Gbps up to 100m

Cat6 can do 5Gbps up to 100m or 10Gbps up to 55m

Cat6a can do 10Gbps up to 100m

Cat7 is an ISO only standard and requires the use of different connectors that are not your typical RJ45 ends. Avoid it.

Cat8 isn't for home use, it's for the data center.
