Hey everyone,

Does anyone have a good source or list for quiet PSUs, including but not limited to the fanless models?

My current 460w platinum fanless is from 2015 so I'll probably need a replacement at some point

In the olden days I'd go to silentpcreview but that site is sadly dead and now lives like a bought up zombie, instead of the high quality in depth articles it used to produce.

On that note I hope LTT Labs is going to be a new source for that kind of information.

mITX is awesome! I regret nothing (apart from when picking parts or have to do maintainance *cough*cough*)

What needs you to replace it?

What parts are you getting that you need a better psu?

What psu is it?

Im not in an immediate need to replace it, other than its a 7 year old psu and I'm trying to stay updated on what's on the market.

Not getting anything new right now. Running a 5600x +3060, although I think about changing to a 6650 xt/6700 or more likely an upcoming 7600xt. The 460w should be able to handle that, but its going to get closer and closer to the limit.

Its an XFS 460W platinum fanless. I've read that it's a rebranded seasonic.

Yup rebranded seasonic.

Should be fine for that but id wait what performance benefits it brings.

As for psu's if you overspec it like a rm850, msi mpg 850, enermax rev d.f. 850,... and such the fans will not run or run very slowly being inaudible over the rest.

I've also heard good things about the Sf600 and sf750 (forgot to mention that I like mITX cases)

Plenty of itx cases with full atx mounts.

The sf600 and sf750 are great too just use their fan a little more.

Yup, I have a Node 304, but can't use it with my current gpu, which is why I consider switching.

Good to know with the Corsairs. I'll definitely look up reviews of your other examples 🙂

Nr200p MAX is what id recommend. Its a bit bigger for a itx case but still quiet small. It also allows for serious cooling so you wont ve restricted.

Oh, I've totally fallen in love with the NR200. It's just that I've already got my Node 304, and it holds a special place in my heart as it's my first case to build in, so if possible I'd like to move back into that
