audio not working

windows will not send out audio i have tried usb optical audio jack also all tests we tested with a Keysight oscilloscopes also have done all basic trubble shooting steps

If you open up the volume mixer, does it show the green level indicators going up and down? That could help isolate it to hardware vs software, or at least give us some clues.

it does move up and down

What's your setup? Is this a laptop or desktop? What audio devices are connected? Do you have HDMI/DisplayPort monitors?

My guess would be that it is sending audio somewhere, but that device is not playing it in a way that you can hear it maybe?
When you open the volume control in the tray, what is listed in the devices drop-down?

i have only one device connected that can output audio which is a Keysight oscilloscope, and it is a destop

You should have other devices in the audio menu in the system tray. If you switch it to your on-board audio and plug headphones into the headphone jack, does that work?

i just shorted the mother bord so it does not matter
