Budget (including currency): 500

Country: UK

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Wide variety of games. F12022, Forza, Call of Duty, Cyberpunk and older titles like the Arkham series and Mass Effect Trilogy

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): So had planned on upgrading to a 7700x but AMD got me with the price drop and I ended up plumping for a 7900x as it was only slightly more than what I had budgeted for the 7700x. Need some advice on a motherboard to go along with it. Given AMDs support for AM4 in the past, is it worth going for an X670 board for PCIe 5.0 for the GPU or is a B650 board a better option. Currently leaning towards an ASUS ROG STRIX B650-A GAMING WIFI as the main differences I see between this and the X670E-A version of the same board is the PCIe 5.0x16 slot and the number of USB 3.2 gen 2s. Any advice welcome.

P.S. Planning on upgrading to 7900 XT or XTX in the new year and have ordered a 32GB 5200MT/s ram kit as part of the upgrade.
