(windows 10) I recently had ps4 controller issues and I had to un-Bluetooth my controller to try and fix it. When I tried to reconnect it, it refused. I've tried everything I have found but it has not fixed it. I have gotten it to Bluetooth a few times but it just deletes it from Bluetooth, device manager and control panel, after about 15 seconds, it does work with a USB but I need to use my ps4 remote wireless, after I use USB it also forgets it. I have tried different outlets on my pc and several remotes, it can Bluetooth anything but a remote.

Also, I can Bluetooth my controller to other devices including my console and Echo show without any issues.

Ive used Bluetooth with Windows 7, 10 and MacOS. The only desktop OS that it actually has been a good experience is MacOS. Microsofts implementation of Bluetooth has been a shit show at best, they even stated they were going to improve Bluetooth's experience in Windows 11, not sure if they have yet.

You didnt state what you tried however a few things Id try.

1) Reboot your computer if you haven't. Some times that has a habit of fixing stuff.

2) Reinstall the drivers for your Bluetooth adapter. Now I would go to the chipset manufactures website and see if they offer drivers directly. For example my Bluetooth adapter is built in to my Motherboards WiFi, and its an Intel card. So Id go to Intel directly to see if there are new drivers. You may also want to disabled Windows update from downloading drivers as those tend to be older, which could be the issue.

I do recall reading that the PS4 controller requires separate software to be installed to make the controller functional in Windows. Im going to assume you have that software installed?

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
