While I have build bleeding end workstations before, that was a few years back and the options have changed dramatically.  I need a good starting point to spec out a system, either to buy or to build.  Some programs are single threaded, like SolidWorks and Fusion 360, while any high-end simulation software will use all cores and threads they can get a hold of.  Memory speed and SSD speed is of high importance.  I have to check if any of my engineering software will use the GPU vs the CPU for calculations, but that is a good bet they might.  I am not a gamer, but the high-end simulation software will tax the CPU and possibly the GPU.

Can someone point me to a few good system configurator tools for what I need.

Budget (including currency): <10K

Country: Canada

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: SolidWorks, Fusions 360, ANSYS, CFD, Altair, thermal analysis etc

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Will get a pair of 34-36 OLED monitors.  Little to no video games.

pcpartpicker is usually a good configuration tool, but I don't know of one specifically tailored to workstations. I linked a build below that could work for you. If you need more than 24 cores, I would go with threadripper but the 13900K is the fastest CPU right now

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
