VPN Raspberry Pi help

So, I wanted to set up my Pi as a VPN for a while, so I tried last night, but I kept on failing

I followed this tutorial:

Everything seemed to work just fine. I could follow it step by step with no problems.

But then, when I tried to connect to my VPN, Windows 8.1 Update kept on saying that I entered in the username and password wrong

 

I went through the steps, and changed the secret password, and everything. I don't know what I did wrong  

 

Any ideas?

if you are on the network already and trying to test if it works, you need to change the VPN address to the pi's local IP

 

if you're outside the network, then you would use your WAN ip
