Does the Integra Drx7 support hdmi arc in?

Is hdmi arc just marketing or would it make a difference?

It seems like the drx7 has all the modern surround formats.

It should support ARC on the main HDMI out port.

ARC is a specific function and not a format or quality thing, so not just marketing.

It means "Audio Return Channel" and can send audio from your TV back to the receiver through it.

So if you use smart TV apps or it has a built in TV tuner or something you can send that audio to the receiver without using other cables

LTT's Resident Porsche fanboy and nutjob Audiophile.

 

Main speaker setup is now;

 

Mini DSP SHD Studio -> 2x Mola Mola Tambaqui DAC's (fed by AES/EBU, one feeds the left sub and main, the other feeds the right side) -> 2x Neumann KH420 + 2x Neumann KH870

 

(Having a totally seperate DAC for each channel is game changing for sound quality)
