DISPLAY GOES BLANK

hi so i have no idea why but recently maybe a few weeks, my screen will go black randomly and come bk a secound latter but with out audio, i then switch hdmi input then switch back and its fine untill it does it again

 

4k tv

ryzen 5 2600

16gb ddr4 ram

gtx 1060 6gb

windows 11

try a different cable if you have one, might also be worth blowing out the hdmi port on the gpu with some compressed air as well.

yeah i think that might work for me as i recently took it out... i shall try that and get bk to you if it works tomorrow

first thing when ts unknown wierd behavior?

check for driver and bios updates.

also, if the other good advice that others have posted doesn't seem to solve the issue,

you can try the display with another hdmi device like a roku stick or dvd player to see if the issue could be with the display.
