What?

From my basic understanding, you want 7 rgb fans, but you want a controller since your mobo dosent have enough argb connections?

What's your specific mobo and budget?

Most fitting would be lian li's sli uni fans which is ideal here for them being daisy chainable

US here are my parts https://pcpartpicker.com/list/FDJcjZ and gaming at 1080p ultra mainly racing

Do you already have ram? You're missing it from your list

If you don't have ram then I'd go with something like this

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/gWjdzf

The 5800x3d is a perfectly good cpu, but the 13600k will last just a bit longer with its extra cores and will have similar performance in gaming

The ak620 is a good cooler for the price that will handle the 13600k just fine

Good board with bios flashback just in case

32gb of ram

A bit cheaper 2tb storage

The 6700xt you chose has artificial power limitations in place so you won't get the most performance from your gpu, I'd reccommend getting a different one such as the 6750xt in my list

The 5000d airflow is a huge case, so I went with roughly the same size case but it has rgb fans

Good 750 watt psu to handle the componets

An alternative would be to scale back on the cpu a bit and get yourself a nice 1440p monitor, If desired

Arctic P12 or P14 A-RGB can be daisy chained. Check the motherboard user manual for permitted loading of the A-RGB headers.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.

How could i daisy chain with this build? https://pcpartpicker.com/list/PKr42m

There is no need since there are no RGB fans. The case includes a PWM repeater that can control speeds of up to six PWM fans off of one fan header, (presuming the header can handle the electrical load).

So i don’t need a controller or daisy chain the rgb fans cause the case comes with a controller (5000d airflow)

The build in the link I quoted had NO RGB fans, so there was no need to have a controller for RGB fans. The 5000D Airflow does NOT have a controller. It has a PWM repeater.

The repeater can have up to six PWM fans attached. The repeater takes the attached motherboard PWM fan signal and replicates it to the attached fans. The repeater ONLY handles fan speeds and all attached fans will have the same speed.

There are multiple threads around this subject which I presume is leading to the confusion.

If you use https://pcpartpicker.com/product/QpH7YJ/arctic-p12-pst-a-rgb-0db-488-cfm-120-mm-fan-acfan00231a, also available in 3-pack, the fans can be daisy chained and only motherboard A-RGB headers should be needed.

If you use https://pcpartpicker.com/product/M9Gbt6/corsair-icue-sp120-rgb-elite-477-cfm-120-mm-fan-co-9050108-ww, also available in 3-pack, a Corsair Lighting Node is required. The 3-pack includes a Lighting Node CORE that can handle up to 6 SP120 RGB Elite fans. The Lighting Node CORE requires a USB 2.0 header and SATA power.

What port do the p12 fans connect to on the motherboard

Most, not all z690 motherboards have at least one 3-pin A-RGB header. Each manufacturer has a different name for the header.

What about this motherboard https://www.amazon.com/MSI-Z690-ProSeries-Motherboard-Socket/dp/B09KKYS967/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?keywords=MSI+PRO+Z690&qid=1667414135&qu=eyJxc2MiOiIyLjY3IiwicXNhIjoiMi4yNSIsInFzcCI6IjEuOTgifQ%3D%3D&sr=8-4 can it work with p12

Is that not the motherboard in the build being discussed?

I believe the DDR4 and DDR5 versions have the same headers.

Arctic Liquid Freezer II A-RGB AIO use P12 / P14 A-RGB fans. They are considered best in class for cooling. Take care as they use a thicker than normal radiator which can lead to top mount fit issues.
