I can't decide whether I want a 6900xt or not or air cooling or aio. I want to overclock but i dont know how that will go with a z690. im also going for aesthetics

Your cpu costs almost as much as your motherboard , you wouldn't need to overclocked if you got a less overpriced board and a better cpu.

If you plan to overclock Raptor Lake, you want an AIO. Preferably a 360mm. A z690 will serve you fine.
