Background: Previous system was a 2017 iMac running windows with an additional monitor. System is slowing down, and I am planning to retire it to become a family machine or server of some sort.

Budget: Around 1.6k USD

Country: US

Workload: I will be using this PC for programming and gaming. The games I play are generally on the less performance-intensive side, and I do not play games where hardware-based competitive advantage would be a concern. However, I still do appreciate graphical quality in the games I play, and I can foresee times when graphical capabilities will serve well beyond the scope of games (such as solidworks).

Other details

Here is my parts list. If there are any unnecessary items that could be downgraded, any recommendations would be greatly appreciated, as I know there is a good chance that I have overlooked something.

As a side note, the monitor listed is probably the point of most uncertainty for me right now. I currently have one from my old system (A 23.5" Curved CF396 Samsung), but I want a dual screen setup. I would preferably like something slightly better than my current monitor to act as my main display for games, but it is very open ended for me as of now. I picked the monitor listed just as a hypothetical, but it is definitely subject to change.
Thank you for any feedback!

The i5-13600KF offers much better performance.

The NH-D15 is a bit overkill for the 5600X and the i5-13600KF.

Save a bit on the NVMe drive any performance difference will not be noticeable.

The cost premium of an 80+ Titanium PSU is significant. It's not worth it usually.

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
