I noticed that my performance of my gtx 1070 went to crap. Running 3d mark I'm getting a GPU score of 3799, the average score for a 1070 is more than 6500. I opened up Cpuid hardware monitor and noticed that I was hitting Utilization limit while idle(Left). When running 3dmark I would quickly hit power limit much sooner than I used to. The screenshot on the right(white) is from around 2 months ago, one on the left(dark) is today after running 3dmark. I have disabled MSI Afterburner and reinstalled drivers. Please help, want to play Dark and Darker when it comes out tomorrow.

For those who don't use CPUID HW monitor the columns go like this. Current Status/Min Status/Max Status

Have you tried cleaning out the card? If running hotter than expected, clogged heatsinks are usually at play.
