orginally got the motherboard and cpu combo on amazon to up grade my build but keep putting it on side lines til i decided to just build a whole new build instead and give my old one to a younger cousin.

Cool upgrades.

 

Yeah, would probably recommend 13th gen i7, and definitely a psu upgrade. If you go with a ddr4 motherboard, you'll be able to save money on not having to replace the RAM.

How easy is that Corsair LCD screen to read, above the keyboard? Was looking at getting one of those, but idk if worth it or not.

got it as a combo with k100 but neat thing. best to lower brightness to 50% to 70% so that odd diff angle views effect isnt as bad. great way to control fan speeds instead of oppening icue and to monitor temps and adjust fans speed.
