Cooler for CPU

Hello, I am planning to buy Intel Core i9-12900K. Will Noctua NH-D15 be good for this processor? As far as I know, i912900K is based on 1700 socket, but when I've searched Noctua NH-D15 on my local shop, it didn't say it support this socket, but I've read on the internet that it does, so now I am not sure, that's why I am making this post.

On Noctua's website it states under the specifications that the cooler does support LGA1700. If you bought it before the launch of Intel 12th gen, then you need to contact their support and ask for the LGA1700 bracket. They will send it to you free of charge.

I didn't buy it yet.
Are there two versions of this cooler then?

Well, yes. There is the traditional color version and then the all black version. Both include the new LGA1700 bracket.
