Black screen after AMD driver update

I updated my AMD driver without problems. I even used the computer after restart again with no issues. I then turned the computer off for the night. In the morning when starting the computer I only got a black screen.

i7-7500u

Radeon TM 540

2x8gb RAM

256gb SSD

1Tb HDD

My experience with older HP laptop display drivers is don't update with anything but the HP certified drivers.
