Ryzen 5 1400?

List full specs of your current system incl stuff like case, psu, cooler, etc. Very likely all you need is just a cpu upgrade (ram can be overclocked, even old trash 8gbit mfr can do 3200 cl16)

Yes a r5 1400 it’s a dell Inspiron 5675 form 2017 I think… I’d rather get a whole new buildI know it’s smarter to upgrade cpu and RAM but I’d rather build a fresh new one I’ve kept this one for 5 years lagging horrible in windows is done… I actually hVe something in mind: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/hffdfv

But thanks for the input on upgrading!

Whats the ram capacity and specs?

If its 1 8gb stick it may be reusable, just gotta check thaiphoon burner for ram ic so you can buy another ram with the same ic

If its 1 16gb stick yea just sell that and buy diff rams

The case and ssd choice is pretty meh, ssd wise theres cheap <60$ 1tb nvmes and case wise prefferably just buy a decent used one with decent airflow but if you wanna go new may aswell get a zalman i3 (4 rgb fans, mesh front) though im quite against case spending on a tight budget since you can always use that money for better things rather than spending on a case

You can upgrade to a 5700x and buy the zalman i3 case if you want btw, but you could also just opt to save your money instead

Buy a used b3/450 or x3/470 board <60$, you should still find decent boards like the pro4 at that price. If you cant find a decently priced wifi board you can get a pcie wifi adapter card
