H100i Question

So I am building my computer some parts don't come in till like another week but I already got everything in there motherboard, fans etc. I mounted the H100i and the tubes are just hanging should I hook it up to the cpu already or should I wait till the other parts coming in? I just don't like the tubes hanging. Does it matter if I install it all the way and wait a week before booting up the system?

Don't hook up the aio to the CPU when you get it, run everything without that and just use the stock cooler so you know every part  works.

The chip I have doesn't come with a stock cooler. My only question is will hooking up the H100i and leaving it there for a week affect anything? In a negative way?
