Does adding a bios supervisor password block windows 10 from making changes to bios settings?

i dont mind windows updating itself but i do not like it altering / changing my bios settings, they are set a certain way because i know the system works that way.

if i cant stop windows 10 from making bios changes willy nilly, i'll have to remove / delete windows 10 permanently

settings it changes

- secure boot ( this was previously set to off )

- tpm 1.1 to tpm 2

appeared to change ACPI settings as well after a shutdown and power cord removed ( required loading defaults in bios screen to rectify )

these changes in settings cause blue screens of death, windows 10 recovery does not work and requires a complete re-install of the operating system.
