Hey guys,

I have
I7-12700k CPU
EVGA RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultímate
32Gb of 3200mhz tridentz Ram
960 Evo 1TB
Msi Mpg Edge DDR4

So I installed a new PSU(from 850w to 1000W)a couple of days ago and ever since my GPU load has been 1-5% in all the games I play. I took out that new psu and installed the old one but im still getting the gpu load at single digits on any game. However I can still play all games at max setting with 144+ frames. But my computer also shuts off a couple of times while gaming.I play at 1920x1080 at 240hz.

I have reinstalled drivers(haven’t used ddi yet tho), installed intel chipsets drivers again, and disabled integrated graphics. I used a bottleneck calculators and it appears at 3% which I’m guess means little to no bottleneck.  I even set the power settings to high performance? This only happens when I play games, wallpaperengine makes the usage go up like it normally should.

Does anyone know what could be causing this? I built this computer only a weeks ago?

What are you using to monitor the load?

If MSI afterburner, turn on the option Unified GPU load monitoring and disable Ultra Low Power State ULPS.

Task Manager doesn't show the true data on many systems.

I’m using task manager, and CAM. They both say that GPU load is in the single digits. I booted up Cyberpunk and my gpu load dropped to 1~7% load but the gpu temp still went up as well as cpu

Can you re-seat the GPU?

Same here but with rtx 3070 ti and i7 12700kf

Everything was fine but when i set the Nvidia control panel> power management and set it to prefer maximum performance

After i did that i started having the same problem as you

I tried everything you have listed and didn't help as well 😕
