5500xt Not working

Hello, I was recently gaming on my computer when all of a sudden my screen went black. Upon reboot, the motherboards lcd indicator stated cpu for 2mins the got stuck on vga. Tried a different gpu got it to post once(not after that did it post) and then tried it in a friend's pc and also didn't post. Any ideas?

This is really confusing.

 

You put a different GPU in your PC, and it POSTed once, but only once and not after?

 

Then you tried "it" in a friend's PC. What is "it"? Your 5500XT or the other GPU? 

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.
