I've been searching for 27 inch monitors and I've come across this one on Ncix and since it's currently on sale I'm wondering if I should buy it or not, I'm not a big display buff so I'm wondering if anyone could give any information or if I shouldn't go for it.

Thanks!

I agree with the above posters. Are you certain you want to go with a 27" 1080P display? I find that 1080 doesn't look all that sharp at that size or larger. You would be better served with a smaller 1080 display or (if you have the GPU power) step up to 1440P if you want the 27" sizing.

That's just my opinion, if you look at a 27" 1080 screen and are satisfied, then that's cool. I would still look for an IPS panel though.

I went to a lan center for the first time with friends and they have 27 inch 1080p monitors setup, I couldn't find the brand name since it was so dark O.o. At home I use 20 inch monitors atm, so when I first experienced a 27 inch I was blown away by how it looked, maybe because my monitors only use 1600x900 so that isn't 1080p.

Some people really like 1080 at a 27" size, if your happy with it then more power to you. I would still say you should look for an IPS panel as the colors and viewing angles are significantly better.
