Future upgrades?

(Upgrade I'm considering rn)

I have recently noticed that 32GB 3200mhz ddr4 ram has come down in price by a good amount. I found a kit and was wondering if anyone has had any experience (Negative or positive) with it.

OLOy ddr4 (some reviews say it has failed over the long term (3 months to a year) of use?) should I be concerned about this?

I currently have a 16gb kit of 3200mhz crucial ballistics and was wondering if it would work with it or if I should just sell it off as opposed to having mismatched sticks with a combined total of 48GB

(My main reason for upgrading is some of my games (COD in particular) max out the ram with around 400mb free)

Future upgrade (a few months ish)

I currently have a b550m mortar (full specs on my page and in my signature)

I was thinking about maxing out my platform with a 5800x3d as second hand they seem to go for 240 ish US and it would be a major upgrade.

Is this an upgrade that would be worthwhile? I find that with COD warzone and other really intensive games my 3600 sits around 70% sustained with spikes in the 90% 's sometimes.

Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Unless you're doing memory intensive tasks you don't really need 48GB, you could just resell your old kit

Why not get another kit of 16GB for 32GB total?  3200MHz RAM is more than fine.
