Problem with the base PC: HP makes literal garbage. See Craft Computing's recently posted video for a general summary of what you might be fighting through by trying to save a buck or two. Expect a lot of proprietary stuff that will be a pain to replace or not work with other stuff you try to add too it. Even stuff as simple as the cooler will be proprietary. GamersNexus also has done some coverage of HP systems with more detail. I would be very wary of anything from them.

their workstations, like this one, are generally OK, especially the older ones like this. However, I would not bother with buying all that and would instead build a decent system for the same money that’ll perform significantly better.
