The intel i5 12400 with a sufficient board like the b660 x ax or msi pro b660 a, or the r5 5600 with a b550 like the b550 steel legend or msi pro a would be fine as well.

why would i get such a new cpu for web browsing and really light easy games to run?

Because you haven't said what motherboard or any other parts you have to be able to suggest one that wouldn't require a full platform change.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

If they're so easy to run then why don't they run on the CPU you have now?

You've told us nothing about the current specs of the system, and nothing meaningful about what you want to do with it beyond "light gaming" which could mean a dozen different things to a dozen different people, and you say "cheap" but refuse to define an actual budget. Then you shit on people when they suggest some common current budget-oriented CPU options.

Unless you give us way more information to work with, nobody is going to be able to help you.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.
